Automatic packers are designed to perform the tasks of forming, filling and closing American-style cartons with a tape or hot melt system. The bundle (i.e. a set of individual packs) is checked before it is inserted into the carton. This verification is carried out using CX2 parallel beam area sensors with analog output.
